Dear Pastor and Brethren:

Sis. Kim, Sis. Elaine, Sis. LaShonda, and Sis. Connie were all absent from our services three out of four Sundays mostly due to sickness or travel. So our attendance has been low during all the month. Nevertheless, we have had good services with those who did come, although the singing is better when all the Ladies attend. I have been preaching on the Holy Spirit’s administrative work in the early church and how He set the precedence for church administration today. Many religious societies have departed from the example set by the Holy Spirit and therefore we have many different church polities and religious activities in play today that are foreign to the Holy Scriptures. Perhaps the Lord would bless us if we would return to New Testament polity and practices as instructed by the Holy Spirit.

Spanish Outreach
Bro. Dick Gaches who runs the jail ministry has asked us to order forty Spanish Bibles for use in our Spanish outreach. Each Sunday at 3 :00 he enters the local jail and preaches to the men incarcerated there. Some of those men are Latinos who have asked for a Spanish Bible.

Personal Health
I am writing the following to seek your prayers for me because my cardiac specialist has ordered me to have a cardioversion to try to fix the synchronization of my heart. The other cardiologists have not been completely open with me about my pacemaker. The first pacemaker was a two-wire device in which the battery ran low and had to be changed. The electrophysiologist installed a new three-wire pacemaker but only turned on two of the three wires. Now my new cardiologist has told me that they are going to turn on the third wire in an attempt to control my atrial-fibrillation and put my heart into proper beating order. This is to occur sometime between November 12th and November 22nd with the date unconfirmed as of yet. Would you please remember Sis. Roxanne and myself as we go through this adjustment period in the near future.

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Tim and Roxanne Parrow
