More Visitors!
We are happy to report the attendance of seven visitors this month of which two were first time visitors and the others return visitors. Mrs. Billie Barzee continues to attend the Sunday morning services regularly, and we are happy to have her visit with us. Two ladies that live in the area of our church building, Pat and Linda, visited us on a Thursday evening for Bible Study. They came out of curiosity and as a direct result of our visitation program that the Lord has already begun to bless. They have not returned since, however, having their own churches that they attend. They did hear the gospel and are now responsible spiritually for having heard it. Then the four members of Bro. Torres’ family came for our special Thanksgiving service, Mrs. Jamie Torres and their three children, Brayden, Gaven, and Khloie. We had gone to the hospital the previous week for little Khloie’s operation and stayed with her and her parents until she came out of recovery. We had a special Thanksgiving service with special music and time for testimonies. The Lord blessed with some tears of joy and gratitude for the blessings of the Lord upon us. Please pray for the Torres family for they are once again split up with the wife and children living in a trailer and the father living at his house. The wife makes the doctrines of grace one of the reasons why she won’t live with her husband and for which she attends another church in the area with their children.
Latino Outreach
This month we had contact with the following Latino people, some for the second time and others for the first time. Jorge, Eladio, Jesus (Hesus), Omar, Oscar, and Rolando. The opportunities have certainly subsided because of the enforcement of immigration laws and less movement of the illegal Latino people in our area. Please be in prayer about this!
Thanksgiving Blessings!
Roxanne and I were invited to spend Thanksgiving at our older son’s home, Nathan and his wife Amber, and our three grandchildren, Ruth, Isaac, and Levi. Our younger son, Eric, also came, and we had a lovely time together eating turkey prepared by our granddaughter, Ruth, and all the other condiments that go with a Thanksgiving meal. We spent the night with them and the next day got out the hymnals and had a time of singing praises unto the Lord for His lovingkindness and goodness to us all. Part of our thankfulness is for our sponsoring church and our supporting churches who understand that it is their giving that enables us to continue preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank each one of you from the bottom of our hearts!
By His grace and in loving gratitude,
Tim & Roxanne Parrow
