Dear Pastor and Brethren

Health Update

First of all, thank you all for your prayers concerning my heart health needs. Although I am much better, I am still having problems with extreme fatigue due to a low ejection fraction which also causes shortness of breath, low blood pressure, dizziness, ringing ears, unbalance, and mental disorientation. Therefore, I cannot yet drive the car nor stand up very long to preach a message. I have, thank the Lord, been able to return to practicing and playing the piano to accompany our singing for our worship services. I have also been able to translate just a little for a court ordered mental health evaluation, but sitting down to do so. I am trying to increase my stamina by doing some early morning or late evening yard work, but that is limited to watering flowers, or watching Roxanne mow the grass. I still cannot use my left arm without pain, but it is becoming less numb and less painful every day. My left shoulder below the clavicle is where the pacemaker is located and the adhesive strips that cover it are beginning to work loose. Over all, I believe that I am recovering about as fast as possible and as indicated. I go to see my cardiologist in August and my Cardio-electrophysiologist in September for follow-up. I would like to set a date to return to the pulpit on Wednesday evenings in the month of July, Lord willing, as my health improves.

Mission Progress

While the Lord has me recovering from the above side effects of atrial fibrillation and pacemaker surgery, Bro. Dick Gaches has been preaching ably in my absence from the pulpit. He’s been preaching on the sovereignty of God in the life of David, especially in the time of David’s youth. Our attendance has been good with from nine to eleven people being in attendance. Some are on vacation as is always to be expected in the summertime. We are blessed by the presence of the Spirit of the Lord when we assemble. Although others among us have spiritual and physical difficulties, we have good attendance each Lord’s day. Once again, thank you all for your prayers, and support of this the Lord’s work in me and here in Oklahoma.

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Tim and Roxanne Parrow
