Dear Pastor and Brethren:

Mission Activity

On December 7th, I had to ask Bro. Gaches to fill the pulpit for me because I was recovering from the negative side effects of a medicine called a Vaso restrictor to reduce the size of my veins and arteries so that my blood pressure would come up. I took it for one day, but the side effects lasted with me for several days. It so disabled me that I was unable to walk without the help of Roxanne. Thank the Lord, I am now able to walk again but am still having trouble with my low blood pressure, going as low as 86 over 52 a few times. and frequently 100 or less on a daily basis.  On December 14th, Bro. Gaches had to admit his wife Connie into the hospital in OKC for examination and diagnosis. She has lost so much weight that she is now down to 97 lbs. Please pray that the doctors might be able to discover the cause of her weight loss problem. On December 21st, Sis. Kim Williams became sick and has not been in the services since. On December 28th, Sis. Elaine Maginnis came to the service but has not returned since. We have not had good attendance during the entire month of December. Please pray for us concerning this matter of sickness.

Latino Outreach

The Latino ministry continues to decline because of the effect of I.C.E on the Latino population. Most of the Latino men that are being arrested for crimes committed here in our county are being detained by I.C.E. and being deported. We have had opportunity to work with three Latinos this month, a man named Armando, another named Ediberto, and the Solomon Cardenas family.

Other Activities on a Personal Level

Because of several reasons, I have retired from my Spanish translating work at the Payne County Courthouse. I had been serving the Lord there and helping our community with the Latino population for about 23 years. Our youngest grandson had cancer surgery at 20 years of age this month and our older son and his wife, Nathan and Amber, moved to Pennsylvania to begin a new job. Roxanne has had a visit with an arthritis doctor and cardio screenings.

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Tim & Roxanne Parrow
