Wonderful Rain
Last month I reported the destruction of many homes because of the terrible fires that occurred here in Oklahoma. Now, however, the Lord has sent us much rain. Our rain gauge in our front yard that measures eight inches was completely full when I emptied it. We received a little bit more before it stopped raining. We are so very grateful to the Lord for this wonderful temporal gift of His because we have been in drought for quite some time. According to the official rain report, April has been the wettest month since since April of 2017. Such a little thing for the Lord but such a big thing for us is this answer to our prayers. It looks like we may have more rain coming for the month of May.
Our Mission Member
The only mission member that the Lord sent us has left us, sad to say. She won’t tell us why she has left but only said that it has nothing to do with Roxanne and me. Maybe she will return, only the Lord knows. Her son had quit coming four or five weeks ago. When we asked her, she would only say that he was working on Sundays. Please pray for us because this departure really is difficult for us already being small in number. Last Sunday there were five of us in attendance. We are down to our original number. Perhaps the Lord will bless us with new visitors and new members in due season.
Resurrection Day
We had a beautiful Resurrection Day service with eight in attendance. It was the last day the above mentioned lady attended. She gave us no indication of her desire to leave us but rejoiced with us at the blessings of the Lord on that Day.
The Latino Ministry
Latinos we have ministered unto are as follows; Bernabe, Jesus Yarael, Jesus Cuellar, Alfonso Barrera, Jorge Cruz, Hector De La Cruz, and Jose Murillo. Furthermore we contacted Bro. Jose Manuel Garcia Alarcon, the pastor of the church in Tenerife, to congratulate them for thirty years of the service of the Lord there in Santa Cruz. We talked with him for about one hour and a half. Please remember them and us as we labor for and with the Lord in both Tenerife and Stillwater, Ok.
