Dear Pastor and Brethren:
Latino Ministry
The Latino ministry is having a difficult time because of the work of ICE agents here in our area. Instead of giving three Latinos a monetary bond on charges such as disturbing the peace, public intoxication, and obstructing an officer, they were given a personal recognizance bond. The ICE agents came immediately and whisked them off to the detention center in Tulsa to be deported to Mexico. However, we have worked with three Mexicans and one Guatemalan. The worst of the offenders is the Guatemalan, Ba-Choe. He is accused of beating his nine month old boy so badly that Child Protective Services had to put him in the Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He will probably be incarcerated for the rest of his life according to an attorney with whom we talked. There is more to this story, but I hesitate to speak of it because it is so immoral. On the other hand, we have a Mexican who is doing yard work in order to complete his mandatory community service assigned to him by the judge. I have given him two pieces of Gospel literature to read, Ultimas Preguntas and El Rastro de la Sangre – Ultimate Questions and The Trail of Blood. Thus far he has not said anything to me about these books. He still has 25 hours of community service left to do, and hopefully I can engage him in conversation about the books and about the Lord.
Mission Services
Sis. Elaine McGinnis, our most elderly attendee, missed the first two weeks of services this month. She is ninety-one years old and is suffering from macular degeneration. In addition to that she is very thin and weak making it impossible for her to attend at times. Please remember her in prayer. On the 25th of May, I invited Bro. Phillip McGee to preach to us and he preached on the subject, Following the Footsteps of Christ, based on I Peter 2:21. He did a good job, and therefore I will invite him again to preach to us, Lord willing.
Personal Note
On May 223rd, Roxanne and I went to my cardiologist in Edmond, OK. He said that he had good news for me, and told me that I am now free from atrial fibrillation. Praise the Lord and thank you all for your prayers. I am now taking five different medicines to maintain my heart condition.

By His grace and in loving gratitude, Tim and Roxanne Parrow – II Tim. 1:7
