Dear Pastor and Brethren:
For the Sundays of the tenth, the seventeenth, and the twenty-fourth of this month we had the following attendance: 9, 7, and eight. The Sunday of the third of November I was sick and could not attend the service. Bro. Gaches, who does the jail ministry, filled the pulpit for me. Bro. Gaches says that there are several Latinos in his jail services and so we ordered seventeen Spanish Bibles to give to those who want them. He says that many of them understand some English but cannot speak English well enough to communicate with them. They come to the services on Sunday afternoon to listen in English, but want Bibles in Spanish to read on their own time.
The Latino men with whom we have dealt this month are Adolfo, Juan Pedro, Pedro, Yair, Bugarin, and Carlos.
On A Personal Level
Our son, Nathan, and his wife, Amber, invited Roxanne and me for Thanksgiving dinner along with the rest of our family and their friends. We had a joyous time and eventually sang some hymns together. Our great-granddaughter, Marie, a two-year-old, played the piano along with me and sang at the top of her voice along with the rest of us. Before going home she warmed up to me and gave me a big kiss on the cheek, a surprise to all of us. She had never been friendly to me until that time. I certainly have a great deal for which to thank the Lord! We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support, and hope that you all had a blessed Thanksgiving.
Update on My Medical Procedure
I had originally been told that the cardioversion procedure would happen in November, but it didn’t take place until December 6h. Thank you for your prayers because the procedure was successful. More on that later.
By His grace and in loving gratitude,
Tim and Roxanne Parrow
