Dear Pastor and Brethren:

Mission Activities

During this month, we had a fellowship meal after the morning service to create a successful time of spiritual fellowship and social fellowship. Sis. Elaine Maginnis attended for the first time since she moved to the Guthrie area to live with her daughter. She is ninety-one years of age and has trouble with macular degeneration. It was good to see her, and she expressed her delight in attending the service.

Along with Sis. Elaine, we had the visit of LaShonda Dale now Dr. LaShonda Dale because she achieved her doctor’s degree from Walden University in criminal justice. She left our fellowship because of her misunderstanding about minor religious systems and political influences after the election of President Donald Trump into office. We enjoyed her visit with kind words and hugs. We have found out that she has started her own prayer line on the telephone, hoping to spread kindness and comfort to all who make the call. She has not returned to our services since.

Our new pew chairs that interlock have arrived. They came in a huge tractor-trailer on a pallet, thirty of them. They are a dark red in color with a black frame and look very nice. The driver of the truck helped us unload the chairs even though he did not have to do so. I offered him a tip, but he wouldn’t take it. He said that he is a believer but does not attend services anywhere, so I invited him to our services. However, he lives in downtown Oklahoma City, about an hour and a half away. I encouraged him to find a place to worship the Lord.

Answers to Prayer

Roxanne had an echocardiogram, thyroid ultrasound, and an AFib patch done in an attempt to find any anomaly in her health. Praise the Lord and thank you all for your prayers, for she is quite healthy in all three areas of her testing.

Spanish Outreach

We had two Mexicans doing court-appointed community service at our home during this month. Jose Bugarin and Isaias Pacheco have both worked with us on previous occasions and so we are able to offer them the opportunity to do their community service here with us. Jose has a wife and two little children, and I invited them all to visit our services, but they have not come. Jose finished his hours with us, but Isaias still has several hours to do to complete his requirements.

By His love and grace,

Tim & Roxanne Parrow
