Dear Pastor and Brethren:
Resurrection Day
For our “Resurrection Day” service, I asked Bro. Dick Gaches, faithful attendee to our mission services, to preach. He did so on the subject, “The Best Is Yet to Come,” showing us from I Peter 1:1-10 some of the spiritual rewards the Lord has prepared for His people by His resurrection from the dead. It was a good message and the Lord blessed us with it.
Health Improvement
This month I have seen all three of my cardiologists and they have stopped the medicine “Effient,” and changed my intake of amiodarone to once every other day. I was prescribed “Effient,” after my stent placement last July so that my blood would not clog the two new stents. I was prescribed amiodarone three months before my cardioversion in December of 2024. It was given to keep my heart in normal cardio rhythm and to stop the atrial fibrillation. After taking it so long, my doctor has decided to reduce the quantity I was taking because my heart is sustaining normal cardiac rhythm. Once off the frequency of taking the medicine every day, I am feeling somewhat stronger and less lightheaded. Hopefully the doctor will remove the amiodarone completely sometime in the future. Thank you for your prayers, but please continue to pray for me.
Report from Tenerife
We are happy to say that the Lord’s work in Tenerife has completed 31 years of existence. Bro. Jose Manuel Garcia, the pastor, is still preaching and tells me that some ladies in Venezuela who listen to his audio sermons are requesting scriptural baptism. He also states that his youngest daughter, Elisabet, is once again attending the services in Tenerife. He has two other daughters that need to return. All their daughters are married but their husbands do not attend the services. We are so very happy that Elisabet has starting attending again.
On May 15th, Bro. Garcia has to have more tests for cancer cells in his colon. Please remember him in prayer.
By His grace and in loving gratitude,
Tim & Roxanne Parrow
