Dear Pastor and Brethren:
Mission Activity
This month our Sunday attendances were very low, mostly due to various health issues among the congregation. We did have a visitor, Mark Hastings, but he has not returned. Apparently he has a charismatic influence upon his thinking that makes him incompatible with Baptist doctrine and practice. The last Sunday we cancelled due to the extremely cold weather and the snow accumulation of about five to six inches.
Latino Outreach
With our Latino outreach at the county court cancelled, we have had little contact with Latinos except for a few phone calls. We still have two men who are trying to complete their community service with us but they will probably be the last ones due to I.C.E agents picking up inmates as soon as they are released from the county jail.
Other Medical Activities
I had another appointment with my primary cardiologist who told me that he can do no more for me at this time. As I am allergic to two different medicines and can’t take them he won’t prescribe them for me. He encouraged me to be content with the health the Lord has given me, but that I will not get any better and my cardio condition is getting worse little by little. Your prayers for me that I might relax concerning this are much appreciated by us. There is so much to do and so little strength with which to do it. Roxanne is being tested for auto-immune diseases but otherwise is doing well with her pains and arthritis.
Please remember Bro. Jose Manuel Garcia, the Spanish pastor in Tenerife, in prayer. He recently underwent an emergency appendectomy and colectomy, and had to be operated on twice to have the problem resolved. He is home and doing better but still would appreciate our prayers.
Preaching Themes
I have just finished preaching five messages on the subject, “Christ’s Reward and Future Glory.” Now I am going to start a series of messages on our Lord’s “Role in the Covenant of Redemption.” Your prayers are much needed.
By His grace and in loving gratitude,
Tim & Roxanne Parrow
