Dear Pastor and Brethren,
Mission Activity: Sis. Kim Willimas was away traveling to both new York and Virginia, missing three of the five Sundays in November. We are sure happy to have her back in the services again. On the 16th of November we had a visitor named Mark. He came in late, stayed for the rest ot the service and has not returned since. Sis. Conne Gaches and Sis. Elaine Maginnis missed the entire month due to sickess and old age. We certainly do miss them. Otherwise, we had good services finishing the preaching of the doctrine of sin and begnning a new series of message on “God’s Covenant of Mercy with Man.”
Lation Outreach: We were in contact with at least nine Latinos this month through the court system. Please rember us in prayer as deal with these men and occasionally a woman. We often receive phone calls, including some from Mexico, from the relatives of some these poeple who whant to know about their incarcerated loved one.
Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving was a pleasant time for Roxanne and me even though we din’t get to be with our family members. When the time came to get together, three of four of our family members were sick with some kind of viral infection. Therefore, Roxanne and I spent the day together with special food that we picked up on Wednesay evening. Then we called family members to wish them a happy Thanksgiving. Additionally, we sent out Thanksgiving cards to about sixty friends and family located all over the United States. That reminded us for the fact that Thanksgiving is not celebrated in most of the the other parts of the world, because most nations are not “Christian” nations. There are many today that would like change America into a pagan nation, but we give our gratiude to the Lord for our foundiong fathers that were oriented toward God and founded this nation on Godly prinpcles. We thank each one of you for all you stand for biblically and for the suport of us in the Lord’s work.
