Dear Pastor and Brethren:

I am writing a two month report because of medical issues placed upon me by our Lord.
I ended May’s report with the good news of my heart being jolted back into regular sinus rhythm, that’s to say, no more atrial fibrillation after three years of being constantly in that condition. That cardioversion gave me new energy and stability with which to serve the Lord. About a month later, I began losing my new found energy and stability and found myself returning to the hospital on July ninth to have my third angiogram and the placement of two stents in my left carotid artery which was 80 % blocked. I was released and two days later I was again hospitalized because of shortness of breath and instability. I had been given a new medicine to keep the stents from becoming blocked with more plaque, but it became evident that I could not tolerate the new medicine after suffering with it for 18 days. On the 28th of July, because a nurse in the Cardio Rehab found me unable to walk sufficiently to begin the rehabilitation exercises, my medicine was changed and I went home to recover from the effects of the first medicine given me. As of the date of this writing, August 4th, I have been unable to preach or fulfill any ministry activities because of my affliction. However, I believe that the Lord is strengthening me. I plan to return to the pulpit on August 10th, Lord willing.

Anniversary and Birthday
In the midst of all of this confusion, Roxanne and I celebrated her birthday on the 25th of July and our 52nd wedding anniversary on July 26th. We stayed home for both events. Thanks to you all who sent us cards! We appreciate them very much.

Some Spanish Contacts

In spite of my setbacks, the Lord gave us opportunity to touch the lives of some Latino men such as: Luis Martinez Gonzales, Alejandro Ruiz Ruiz, Jose Guadalupe Gutierrez, Jose Flores Martinez, Gilberto Ortiz Naranjo, Virgilio Lopez Diaz and Jorge Lopez Flores. Some of these are Mexicans. Please continue to remember us in prayer.

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Tim and Roxanne Parrow
