Dear Pastor and Brethren:

 Preaching Themes

The Lord has enabled me to preach four messages on the subject, “Christ’s Role in the Covenant of Redemption.” His official position in the covenant of redemption is dual. Hb.7:22 uniquely uses the word “surety,” for the work of Jesus Christ. He is the “certainty” for our relationship with God. We don’t have to worry about losing our salvation because the Lord Jesus renders complete satisfaction unconditionally to God the Father for the Father’s elect and the Lord’s own people. The second of the dual roles of our Savior is his substitutionary activity for his people, God the Father’s elect ones. IPt.2:24 declares this activity very clearly. In both holy roles, the shed blood of our Savior is the atoning and motivating factor for God the Father to justify his people, for, without shedding of blood there is no remission, of sin Hb.9:22.

 Mission Activity

Sis. Connie Gaches and Sis. Elaine Maginnis were both absent the entire month due to sickness. Sis. Connie has been diagnosed with kidney stones and is scheduled for surgery at Stillwater Medical Center here in Stillwater. Sis. Elaine has macular degeneration which has progressed so greatly that she can no longer see to drive or do other things. Please remember these two ladies in your prayers.

 The Latino Outreach

We have had contact with two Latino men who come to do community service with us. Jesus Cuellar finished fifty hours with us doing yard work. I had the privilege to speak with him twice about spiritual matters. He has his own ideas formed about the Lord and needs to read the New Testament to get the right ideas. I gave him two gospel tracts and asked him to read them while inviting him to come back and visit with us under different circumstances.

Isaias Pacheco Adame began his one hundred hours of community service with us. As of now, I haven’t had the opportunity to talk with him about the Lord. Since he has ninety-five more hours to complete, he will be a long time coming here to work. Pray that the Lord might open an opportunity for me to talk with him about spiritual things.

 Medical News

I broke a molar and had to have a crown placed, and Roxanne has had medical testing for her heart and other issues.
