Dear Pastor and Brethren:

Rejoice with Us!

On November 3rd, I was able to return to the pulpit to begin anew our Thursday evening Bible study. You will remember that on January 29, 2015, I had my second heart attack, this time suffering severe damage to the left ventricle of my heart. That attack left me seriously weakened so that Bro. Gaches had to preach Sunday mornings until July 2015, cancelling the Thursday evening services. The Lord has been pleased to restore me to sufficient health since that time, and now I am physically able to preach twice a week. I have to be careful not to exert myself physically during the day on Thursdays so that I can have the strength to stand for the 45 minute Bible study. The Lord is blessing! We started the Bible study sessions with five attendees, two more than we had before. I’ve entitled the subject of our Bible study, “Knowing God,” a look into theology proper .. I believe that if we know who our God is, biblically speaking, then we can accept His sovereignty over all, especially over His salvation, for as Jonah said, “Salvation is of the LORD” Jo.2:9. Additionally, knowing Him will improve our need for true repentance, for humility in service, and make us more correct and productive in our praise and worship of Him, who to know aright is life eternal. Thank you all for your prayers for me concerning this issue, and thank you for your patient support of us here in the work.

Latino Outreach

This month we had further dealings with Vicente Leija, Jose Talamantes, Pedro Nieto, and Agustin Medina. Additionally, we have met new Latino men such as Hector Flores, Juan Reyes, Artemio Bautista, and David Campos. With some men we get to spend more time than with others. However, we endeavor to give Gospel literature to all with whom we have opportunity to personally meet.

Thanksgiving!

We had a pleasant Thanksgiving day eating and playing with our son Nathan and his wife, Amber, and our three grandchildren, Ruth, Isaac, and Levi. Our younger son, Eric, was off to Florida to visit a girlfriend, so we did not get to enjoy his presence. We also took time to worship the Lord, playing and singing hymns together. We hope you all were able to rejoice in the blessings of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our Postal Project

We are still short of our need for $2,399.34 to be able to pay for a postcard mail out to our area zip code. We have $1700.00 at the moment. Can you help us with this project?

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Timothy and Roxanne Parrow
