Dear Pastor and Brethren:

Rejoicing in the Resurrection!

On Resurrection Sunday morning, I preached on the subject “Consider Hirn!” from Hb.12:3 in conjunction with Jn.8:45-50. Most Easter season messages deal mainly with the suffering of the Lord on the cross of Calvary, but He suffered a great deal of mental, emotional, and spiritual anguish before He ever reached the cross. It was that suffering that culminated in His suffering and death on the cross. In experiencing all of that suffering, He never once sinned against His Father, never once failed to impart the testimony of His deity, and never once failed to show compassion on those to whom He ministered. What a great Savior we have!

Happy About a Visitor!

I know that for you established churches a single visitor is not very much to be happy about, but to us it is a real blessing to have a visitor. Sis. Maginnis had a granddaughter that passed away from heart failure. It was her granddaughter’s husband that Sis. Maginnis invited to our services. His name is Royce Barber, and he lives in Perry, Ok., about thirty miles away. He has not come back to our services, but at least he heard the gospel!

Our New Sign!

I have been asking you all to pray about us getting a new sign for the church. We now have the sign and it is installed. Bro. Dick Gaches was instrumental in the installation and painting of the posts, for which we are thankful. We are showing two pictures of the change for you to see; the old sign is incomplete and the new one offers more information. Additionally, we thank the former Sovereign Grace Baptist Church of Amarillo, Tx., that gave the money to enable us to get the new sign. We are deeply grateful, for we believe the sign will be a blessing to the community and an encouragement to others to visit us.

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Tim & Roxanne Parrow
