Dear Pastor and Brethren:

Visitors This Month

Although no new visitors came this month, we had four repeat visitors whose names are as follows: Charlotte Renfrow; Jacob Mason and girlfriend, Macy; and Earl Oswalt. Pedro Garcia is the only new Mexican man with whom I have been able to give a gospel tract. Miss Billie started coming to our Thursday evening Bible study, which now gives us seven regular attendees. Our outreach efforts are developing well, and we methodically highlight the city streets on our map of Stillwater that we cover with door-to-door visitation. Please pray with us for the repeat visitors who we consider to be unregenerated, that the Lord might draw them unto Himself in salvation.

Other Activities This Month

Mini-conference

June 15th through the 18th was occupied by travel to Victory Baptist Church in Ft.

Collins, CO, were I preached in a mini-conference with Bro. Austin Fulton, host pastor, and Bro. Justin Fulton, pastor of Bohon Rd. Baptist Church of Harrodsburg, KY, and Bro. K. David Oldfield, pastor of Calvary Independent Baptist Church of Post Falls, ID, my sponsoring church. Bro. Oldfield preached on the title, Divine Lightning. Bro. Justin Fulton preached on the subject, There Is No Convenient Time, and I preached on The Resurrection of Lazarus. It was a delightful time of spiritual refreshing and godly fellowship. A men’s retreat to the mountains for five days followed with devotional presentations and fellowship for those who could go. We began our return trip to Oklahoma on Monday and arrived at home on Tuesday afternoon, tired but blessed.

Fifth Saturday Fellowship

The Fifth Saturday Fellowship Meetings had not convened for the last year, and Bethel Baptist Church of Choctaw, OK, Bro. Royce Smith, Pastor, tried to recreate interest in this activity by hosting another fellowship meeting the last Saturday of this month. We heard three excellent messages on the following subjects: Perseverance of the Saints by Bro. J. C. Fulton, pastor of Coweta Baptist Church in Coweta, OK; The Christian Sabbath by Bro. Larry Banks, pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Springdale, AR; and Bro. James McDowell, pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church of Duncan, OK, preached on, God and Civil Government. Five of us from the mission work attended and were wonderfully blessed by the ministry of the Word and godly fellowship as well as good food by the ladies of Bethel Baptist Church.

By His grace and in loving gratitude,
