Dear Pastor and Brethren:

Opportunities to Serve

July has been an extra busy month for us because of the following opportunities to serve the Lord! On Thursday, the sixth of July, Bro. Austin Fulton was ordained into the full gospel ministry by Victory Baptist Church of Loveland, Colorado. I was asked by the former pastor of Victory Baptist Church, Bro. Justin Fulton, to participate in that service. Our sponsoring church pastor, Bro. K. David Oldfield asked us to meet him and his wife there in Loveland for he had been asked to moderate the ordination service as well. To all involved in the preceding activities, the service itself, and the following activities, the ordination was truly a blessing from the Lord. We thank our home church, Pastor Oldfield, Bro. Fulton, and Victory Baptist Church for inviting us and making it possible for us to be a part of those ordination activities!

After leaving Loveland, we traveled back to Columbus, Nebraska, to visit with and preach to Bible Baptist Church, Bro. Robert Walker, Pastor. What a blessing it was to be so warmly received by this pastor and church after two days of traveling through Colorado and Nebraska! Bro. and Sis. Walker took us into their home for three days and gave themselves over to taking care of the details involved to feed us, make us comfortable, and help us with many things. That Sunday evening, I preached on the subject, The Delight of the Lord Jesus Christ, based on Ps. 40:78. The following Monday evening, Bro. Walker and his family along with several of the church members had a time of food and fellowship at the beautiful home of Sis. Christine Walker. These brethren and their Pastor were a tremendous blessing and encouragement to us as we departed to return to the work in Stillwater and Grace Baptist Church.

Additional Blessings

While Roxanne and I were traveling, Bro. Dick Gaches filled the pulpit for me for which I am thankful. During the last Thursday evening service of the month of July, we had a young women named Lynn visit with us. We welcomed her warmly, and Roxanne did all she could to help her find the verses of Scripture that we used during the evening message. Sadly she has not returned to visit with us. As to Mexicans, I have dealt with Juan Carlos and Jose Gomez who are doing their community service with us. I have invited Juan Carlos to come to our services, but he has not come. Finally, Roxanne celebrated another birthday, and then we celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary on the 26th of July. Thank you for the cards you sent and for your prayers for us in our travels and for my health. About two and a half years ago, I thought that I would never be able to travel much again after that severe heart attack. The Lord is GREAT!

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Timothy and Roxanne Parrow
