Visitors Continue to Come!

First-time visitors to come to our services in January are Earl Oswalt and Jacob Mason.

Both have come twice and both have talked to Bro. Gaches and me about their need for a spiritual relationship with the Lord. Pray for them because they are both quite mixed up about spiritual matters. Jacob thought that love was the most important thing in life. I told him that truth is the most important thing in life and that the Lord Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He needs that Lord! We have two other visitors who have returned to visit us as well, so we thank the Lord for them. It seems like many of our visitors have so much baggage crowding their lives that they cannot readily discard it to follow the Lord. We can counsel them from God’s Word, but they have to be the ones that make the changes they should to follow the Lord. Meanwhile, we readily accept them into our services so that they can be under the sound of gospel preaching.

The Latino Outreach

During the month of January, we have had contact with six Latino people: Marta, Jose Prieto, Jose Antonio Lugo, Ricardo Gonzalez Tamez, Miguel Angel Rodrigues, and Roberto Flores. Each one of them has a story to tell which is too complicated to relate in a short report like this one. Nevertheless, we want you to know that we try to make a way to share the gospel with them, usually by means of a gospel tract. Many of these Latino people are now afraid of what might happen to them because of the pressure being put on them by the Trump administration. However, they will not return to Mexico because they are making so much money they would rather suffer the pressure than return.

Prayer Requests

Sis. Connie Gaches, the wife of Bro. Dick Gaches, both of whom are faithful members, has been sick now for about a month. It seems that she has a blood infection that stems from infected teeth. She is to have dental surgery to remove her bad teeth which hopefully will alleviate the blood problem. Please pray for her recovery. Bro. Al Christian requests prayer for a medical problem for which he goes for testing in February. Others need jobs and housing. Please remember us all in your prayers.

By His grace and in loving gratitude,

Timothy and Roxanne Parrow
